I pulled in the driveway early one morning, 2-3 o’clock, and was walking to the house, looked up, and Orion’s Belt was hauling away across the sky. Scared the pudding outa me for a second. Started watching for them things, I’ve seen them maybe a dozen times since. All kinds of eerie when you aren’t expecting them

 

Ever since I moved out of the city and get away from the light pollution, one of my favorite things to do is sit out on the back porch with a couple cold snacks and a telescope to stare at stuff in the sky. Its amazing how much u can't see with the naked eye and how much movement there is up there. Really puts in perspective how small this life is that we're all living

 

Shh! ! Legislatures are in session in some state right now...

 

There's an app called SkyMap that you can use to help identify what you're looking at

 

Oh yeah I been using one called startracker or something like that. Couple years ago was able to see Saturn's rings for the first time with the help of the app. What a cool experience

 

Why is ol Cooter so far behind the tech you boys got?
