Worth getting a CDL in my situation?

    I wouldn’t discount what the OP said. His state does offer free courses to anyone regardless of their income level.

    It was I that made a false assumption.

    I agree. The OP's state giving free tuition is similar to my state using lottery money to pay for any state resident's tuition at community colleges.

    Do you really think you can drive a Truck for a living. Possibly living in a truck for months at a time, dealing with management thats going to promise you the world, and all the sudden, Tons of crap not going as planed , You will be working , sitting, and not get paid, or get you home. Once your out there , your not going home for some time, Think before you do. Good Luck
