    I was pretty sure the F-4 Phantom would be near the top of the list. Not sure why the F-111 was left off.

    The US Air Force required 1800 hours experience before you could even apply to fly it. The German Air Force only required 600 hours. A lot of German pilots got killed by it.

    Actually the first photo is a North American A-5 Vigilante.
    F-111s had variable geometry swing wings.
    A-5s were fixed.
