Florida man fakes sleeping in passenger seat after DUI stop

Most people don’t understand the broad powers that a potential DUI can have. You really can’t sleep it off in your car like the old days. You can still get a DUI. There’s some argument to be made if the car is turned off you put the keys in the trunk and you’re sleeping in the backseat you might be able to get away with it, but they still might try to make that Stick. In many states, you can even get a DUI riding a bicycle and most people don’t understand this. You can also potentially pass a breathalyzer test and still be charged with a DUI at the officers discretion in many states. And this is actually happened. Although you would have a good legal argument, people have been convicted of DUIs despite passing the breathalyzer bottom line is if you drink you shouldn’t get anywhere near vehicle of any kind. Especially if you’re holding a CDL.

I knew this guy when I lived in KY that rode his horse to the roadhouse bar I went to. Said he didnt worry about getting drunk as the horse knew the way home lol
