What tools should I keep on my truck as a company driver?

    Snips
    2 Channel locks
    Flat head and Phillips screwdrivers
    3/8 and 7/16 nut drivers
    Vice grips
    Needle nose and Lineman pliers
    Utility knife
    8” adjustable wrench
    1/2 and 3/4 combo wrenches
    3” round masonry nails
    Tire gauge
    16 oz claw and 24 oz ball pein hammers
    Hickory tire thumper
    Zip ties
    Flat pry bar

    One thing I found very useful is a small star bit kit. For snugging up interior panels that like to work loose and rattle.

    We only did that in the Union 76 orange ball in the sky. (If you remember those you're an old fart too)

    Pull in on a Friday night and inframe an 855 Cummins using nothing but a crescent wrench, a screwdriver, a pocketknife and a hammer.

    Finish it on Sunday, go in and shower and be ready to roll on Monday. ;)
