Pretty much like @BoostedTeg says here...

There is some more to it when you dig into the menushia... the regulation is 395.1 (k) that I fall under if anyone cares to research for themselves. But basically during harvest season, which is defined differently by each state (12 months a year in ID and WY), loads of Agricultural products (livestock, fresh unprocessed produce, and many other things) qualify. Anytime spent Inside a 150 mile radius (straight line as the crow flies) from point of origin (shipper) and/or sometimes destination (reciever) does not have to be logged.

Fresh pack potatoes is what I haul and they do qualify. The north bound on ramp on I-15 exit 385 in Tremonton, UT is EXACTLY 150 miles from my shipper... so as soon as I pass that point I can go onto PC notated as Ag Exempt and I can stay Ag Exempt until I leave that 150 mile radius circle. Anything that would normally be On-Duty (fuel, pretrip, shipper/receiver check in and out, DOT inspections, ect.) inside that circle I log as Off-Duty notated as Ag Exempt.

If my previous non-Ag Exempt loads (the load I currently have in the box) receiver was inside that 150 mile radius circle I could go Ag Exempt as soon as I left thier property.

 

He's not strong enough.

 

That's a tough habit to kick... I've tried. Still plan to sometime myself, but not as easy as it would seem.

 

Anybody use one of these ? If not don't waste your money. This one iz not very old and its cooking days are done. Non stick my ###.
