20k coil flying off a overpass.

 

I thought the conestoga meant it was secure.

 

Had a guy pull a flat loaded with drilling equipment off a pad no securement. He thought it was already tied down.

 

Nope. Dispatch called me and I stopped him. Saw him going opposite direction, grabbed cb. Driver....you need to pull over very slowly. He was already on hwy 97 doing like 55. People scare me.

 

I'm surprised coils are still being hauled on flatbeds. You'd think that by now somebody would have developed a trailer especially designed for carrying coils.

Where did he pull over at? Hwy 97 doesn't really have much of a shoulder, assuming you mean the Hwy 97 that runs through South Texas.

 

I wish we had a driver name, for investigative purposes.

 

They do make them.
