Opinions on whether the estimated $900 difference for 6 Alcoa rims is worth it!
    MIRROR FINISH - est $2600
    HIGH POLISHED - est $1700

You may want to look at Durabrite and see if you like that finish. I got tired of my wheels needing polished every year or so and switched to Durabrite. They stay looking the same with just soap and water for many years.

Between the 2 choices, I'd go high polish. Mirror finish are still gonna look like crap after a year and will need to be polished to keep up.

I second the dura brites though, they are handy. They arent as shiney as a properly polished aluminum wheel, but they hold up nicely for several years and are a slam dunk if you arent too picky and also hate polishing

Mirror finish is show-level, like wet sanded and cut until they’re smooth. You can have them done to that level, for less than $900, while they’re still bare.

High polish is polished, but, you can still see the machining marks in the finish. It will look just as good, going down the road.

Mirror finish is winning the battle so far.
Plus I'm thinking of using ceramic wax on them before they get mounted. Put a nice barrier on there to prolong polishing them.

I ordered my truck with durabrite wheels and after only one winter driving in the Rocky Mountains, they looked like they were 10 years old. I had to sand them down and polish them that next spring.
