Poor business decisions is being nice...... They should have folded/restructured back in May. I was taught long ago the only way to survive a race to the bottom is to carry no debt.

From the story: "The news may come as a shock; on May 15th the asset lender Gordon Brothers provided a $27m line of credit to Carroll Fulmer for asset financing and working capital."

Well, a line of credit isn't exactly a loan.....it's more like, If you need it, you got it."
Furthermore, to me it looks like they knew this day was coming and they needed the guaranteed line of credit to cover wages and vendors. And $27M ain't that much for a 400 unit outfit......provided that they weren't in deep hawk to begin with.

Its a sad day. I almost went to work for these guys a year or so ago......had orientation and everything all set up. Then, for some reason, I begged off. I guess Angel was looking after me again.

The biggest catfish ever recorded is a Mekong giant catfish, specifically a 646-pound specimen caught in Thailand in 2005, according to National Geographic. This fish is also recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest exclusively freshwater fish ever recorded. If it's on the internet it must be true.

it was 101 degrees here at @ 2:30pm At 4pm it was down to 70 with a lot of thunder and wind, but #### little tain. We use use the tain.

Any of you older guys that keep putting this off, I got to starve yesterday and this morning had a colonoscopy. Found and removed 8 polyps, same as the last time. Glad I stick to the 3 year schedule. I was planning to go to a local, Texarkana diner a pig out afterwards, but I wasn't hungry. Ate a couple pancakes here at home and they didn't settle right. Oh well....

Any catfish over maybe 2-3 pounds goes back. 1-3 pounders taste the best. Much less than a pound is too much work cleaning for this old man.

Decided not to tempt fate or the squirrels. We got tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and God help us all, kale. But no corn. Perhaps next year as Calico cat seems to be thinning the herd.
