Avoid MR Trans Bowling Green KY

If you notice alot if not most the reviews are repeated by the same people on Google and don't mention any names. I will though. Yes they have their own wrecker and yes a shop. Fred and Nigel were the only two decent mechanics"that I've spoken to" they have more that I haven't. None are CSA certified that I know of to do DOT inspections however my truck got a new one while i was waiting for the trialer to be fixed just to find out at Love's the breaks were bad and there a deep lip on the drums on the drives.
From the beginning. I live in Texas MR Trans is in Bowling Green. They don't pay for transportation but they'll reimburse up to $200.Per Dinah the manager/safety person. Rental from Ft.Worth to Bowling Green was a little over 300 including gas. They gave me $138. I clean my stuff out the car and return it to Budget. Filled out a Paper application. Haven't seen those in years. Took longer than orientation. (20mins).I knew the pay is 52 cpm plus 2cpm over 2500 miles. Dinah said she's starting me at 54cpm. I said "really" she said yes.(before I get the rental) I'm thinkn it's because of my experience? I didn't question it. Spoke to Brittany she explained how dispatcher worked and detention and layover worked. I asked detention is $25 an hour up to how long, how many hours she said 24. Layover is $120 over 24hrs. I'm thinkn don't make sense but maybe they don't do much sitting and I'm on a dedicated lane so ok I see how. Nobdy disputed it and The office is small, I'm standing between Brittany, Dinah and Kate. Kate's the owners daughter and does payroll.(Of course). Walkn off from orientation Kate says "oh we keep your check". Im like what. Turned in my rental, finished orientation, no way home nothing in writing now this we keep your check if you take any time off no matter how long it is we keep your check until you come back. Also we give advs up to $200 AFTER your first week otr. Not after the 2nd load or smthing?? If they'd mentioned keeping a check i wouldn't have come because if I work for smum I want my money. I'm like ok whatever fine I'm here now. Go to put my stuff in the truck, it won't start. Dead. Kill switch is bad. Ok fixed that. Inside and out the truck was FILTHY!!! Smelled like ashes from the last person that smoked cigarettes like it was their job. Dashboard dusty, seats, old hard and nasty, both seats missing and armrest Jacob swore head didn't know how to put on. He's the lead mechanic that lies alot. I asked him what year is the truck? He said 2020, wrong, door seal says sept 2018. Which means it's a 2019. Mattress had stains in it he swore it was new. Top bunk was completely horrible. It's missing a whole cabin behind the driver seat. Floor had all kinds of crumbs on it and under the bottom mattress. Walls were stained, windows dusty yet Jacob swore he put a new mattress in that cost $219 and he cleaned the truck out himself.LIES. They'd rather buy a new seat than to put and armrest on the driver seat. Good think i had a gel seat pad and new seat covers. They cannabolize trucks that aren't working for parts that are so I asked if he can take an armrest off a truck with the same seat that I saw. He said not the same year. Im thinkn Dude it's the same exact seat. Then said he doesn't know how? Now I'm thinkn, you're the lead mechanic? Couldn't pick up my load because it took until the next day before they fixed an air valve on the trailer and got my login for the eld to work. Dinah gives 15 minutes for PC and there no way to use on duty not driving which I know is illegal. Yes I did say 15 minutes for PC. Next day I finally got rolling, first pickup sat there 3hrs, second pick 128 miles away sat there 5hrs.Text Dinah asked for(yes u have to ask for PC time over minutes) to PC 45 minutes to the closest truck stop she said no. I'm about of hours and the closest truck stop was 35 45 minutes away. She finally said ok. Shouldn't have to ask to go to a truck stop on PC 38 miles away. 2 days later the leveling valve on the truck broke. Friday at Love's in Dryer burgers, TN all night. That's wn the mechanic showed me the breaks and drums.(it passed a dot inspection tho) The next weekend on Saturday the alternator killed the batteries. Loves right across the street, im parked at what use to be TN 40 travel plaza. One 9 now. They'd rather send Nigel (great guy) from Bowling Green 148 miles to fix the truck. Granted it was a small love's and they were swamped and populace was open for the parts so im glad they came. 2 trips for one week bc of breakdowns and sitting though. Next weekend i was home. Two weeks after that I was stranded 9 miles from loves in I65N. I pull on exit 37 bc the valve next to the catwalk blew out. Jacob never answered i had to call Nigel and he got Jacob to come. Took 9 hrs and love's is 9 miles away but I was told to wait. Truck cut off from no air meant no ac and it was 90 degrees. Had to leave the doors open for air. I deliver 2 more loads and come home for medical reasons. After 3 weeks Jacob lies and says he's coming to get the trailer and he needs the code to the gate. Then he said another driver is on the way bc he's in the area and his trailer was in a shop close by. I asked if he's getting the truck and trailer he said not as far as he's awhere just the trailer. Dinah calls and said she needs the code to the gate because the driver is there to pick up the truck and I have 35 to 45 minutes to clean out the truck or he's taking my stuff back to Bowling Green. Then she lied and said he's out of hours. I said I get retrieving the truck bc I've been off 3wks but whats wrong with giving me at least 2 days notice? I would've had it cleaned out with me using a walker or not. No warning just go get your things out the truck. You can come back when you're ready but the truck needs to be moving. I get that but no notice is what ran me hot. Now nope. I quit. U kept my check and plan to charge me for the driver coming to get it. What if he gets in a wreck. Or hits smum and says I did it. Consider all of this before u apply to MR Trans. The reviews are lies also. Yes u can get home every week but at .52cpm how much is your check with 1500-2400 miles. If you can live with small checks more power to you. I had one good week. $1734. Sm of that was because of detention and that take 150 per week for escrow. Yet they keep your check. They owe me $1219.02.

 

Don't believe in luck. It is or it's not. I'm always great no matter the circumstances.

 

If Dinah had told me they keep your check if you stay off for any time I wouldn't have rented the car in the first place. Dinah told my .54cpm before I rented the car my first check was .52cpm. They change things to their advantage as they go. If had had the money I would have left before I saw the truck. I used my last $300 to get there and over drafted my account to eat. They offer a 200 adv and when you get there Dinah says after your first week. On the phone it was after my first load. When I asked for 150 she told me I had to drop my load first. What happened to after the first day, week nows it's 2weeks in and it's after I drop my load?? They owe me 1219.02 and I plan on getting it back. Legally of course.

I already spoke to KY DOT.. they told me. I toldm the trucks won't pass inspection all they have to do is pullm in the scale. And they Board of labor for keeping $1219.02..
