My '82 Western Star originally came with the White version of the REYCO. It was equally as miserable, and a Pete cutoff solved that issue.:biggrin_25514:

you got that right, even being 70 is becoming scary. Medical Disabilities are very
scary . Take away your mobility to move or do things you used to do, but NOW cant. I was just at my Physical Therapy and this young man and his wife i believe, possibly in there early 50`s, Him 400 Plus pounds, her 300. I felt very sorry for both of them because the road ahead of them is not going to be pleasant. Very scary for them . Pray for them.

25 years ago, it was actually rare to see a person who weighed 400lbs. Now, you see 400 lbs every day of the week. The couple you speak of were probably in their early 40s.

Less than a century ago, they would have been literal circus freaks.

Reyco was tolerable. Hendrickson was just flat out nasty.

My first 5 years were in spring ride trucks. Reyco and Mack weren’t too bad. I didn’t mind the loaded dump truck bounce. I wasn’t too crazy about the empty dump truck washboard, but even that was better than that #### Hendrickson in that 9300 I did most of my open deck work with.

Well, you didn't grow up in the Badger, where obesity was a household thing. My ex-gf had a sister, over 500, and couldn't move on her own, my parents in the 60s had some friends, a family of 4, all over 400 EACH. Hey, can't lose weight with things like deep fried cheese curds,Johnsonville sausage, and of course, they are called "the Brewers" for a reason,,and you know, they're happy. :dontknow:

    Lonesome Thanks this.
