What if it Snows?

Well Operation: Many Miles is officially in the books.

7796 miles in almost exactly 13 days... 13 consecutive days. I was home for about 9 hours on day 7 before turning and burning again.

Bonus Achievement: Scale Dodger... because I screwed up and didn't scale my back haul close to the shipper, and I wasn't going to back track over 4 hours to have it reworked, I dodged scales all the way from Toledo, OH to Corinne, UT. Completely avoided all of them except for 1, and I timed that one so as to go past when I knew it was closed. I know one thing, I never want to work that hard to take a load across the country again... and these "drivers" now days complain about trip planning, routing, and finding parking. Did all of that strategically, hit an antelope, and still was only 30 mins late for delivery appointment... minus drivers side bumper and fog light, which the antelope claimed as his with his final breaths.

 

And a low growl; with the click of toenails on hardwood, plus a neck chain jingle.. Priceless....

 

Well, he is still out there. Look sharp, Mphs. St Louis, Evansville, and Nashville. He is in there... Prolly shaved the beard by now..
