Nox sensors replacement + regen - 10 hours of labor??

Need to know what engine and what the codes were.

 

How much of the 10 hrs is for diag? Ask for a breakdown of the time.

 

You are getting ripoff. Took me like 30 mins to replace my outlet Nox Sensor and that is including watching the Step by step tutorial on Youtube. The Inlet doesn't look look like to much work either. I say 3h max including regen.

 

Changing the sensor generally doesn’t take too long. If it’s a Detroit and they followed all the troubleshooting steps,then it can take time.

 

Depends on how hard it was to get out. Sometimes they have to cut the bung off and weld a new one on.

 

If the sensor broke off that'll be where the time went. Flat rate and book times are a very general guide and go out the window in less than ideal scenarios.
