    Im going on two weeks now and nothing back yet. Which is weird my passport and TWIC came back immediately and most of my other background checks for employment or gun purchases have been within 15 minutes came back

    This is the literal longest ive had to wait

    Just renewed my background check for my hazmat and it took less than 12 hours. No fingerprints, as I just renewed my TWIC in 2023.

    I have my passport and TWIC. My appointment was 2pm for my hazmat background and I was approved before 10pm that night.

    Well, to be fair, I had worked at the post office, and they have a pretty thorough vetting process and I had a secret clearance from my army days (but that was 50 years ago). That might have had a hand in it.
