In a pervious post I noted the oil pan was basically vacuumed on. Got it off to roll main bearings but found HUGE Chunks of metal in the oil pan. Any ideas on what they're from? The only info I got with this is the engine (NT855 4th gen) was dropping oil pressure to 12psi and lower.
Any advice?![]()

Can't get a picture of it but piston 2 from the grill has burn marks on the inside of it. Don't have time to pull the head I gotta get rolling in the morning for my monthly time on the road.

Looks like a scored piston which has got the liner hot and comprised the seals and it’s getting coolant in the pan or sure looks like a coolant trail running down that rod.
From the pics it’s sorta hard to tell if that’s coolant but sure looks like itMACK E-6, little cat 500, KB3MMX and 2 others Thank this.
