I don’t follow any of these so called YouTube experts either. You have to figure things out for yourself. Kind of like the stock market, by the time everyone is talking about it then it’s too late. Do you and focus on your gut instinct.

Best thing you can do is find a nice little niche that not many others can do. Sounds funny but that’s the trick to it all. What if you were a refrigerated trailer who is also haz mat that also can do driver assist or even tailgate with a lift gate? What if you also could do all the same but tanker skids as well? What if you could do a refrigerated haz tanker that also required white glove to a building that doesn’t have a normal dock? How much would you charge? Probably more then dry van?

There are so many options out there, but it takes doing something different to really see potential opportunities. I can’t even begin to tell you folks how many back flips we do to make sure customers are happy and the job is getting done. However, money talks and bs walks. I don’t know about you, but walking sucks.

And when this move runs out of luck, what should be the next one? Driving for Uber?

I doubt he's just gonna piss and moan about it on an internet forum and wonder how the other guy got "lucky".

What type of trailers do you pull? What type of freight do you chase? Up until my time leased to FCC I always had decent “luck” doing somewhat specialized work. Livestock, food grade pneumatic, livestock feed, pad wrap furniture.
