About 15% of the population show no reaction to urushiol oil the active ingredient in oak & ivy but that doesn't make them immune. Repeated exposure will cause skin irritation. I have had poision ivy a few times. You can feel the oil on your skin. Don't touch your skin is key.

 

Buffalo looks bad.

 

Used to get it on my face as a kid. It would scab up and itch like crazy. I’d scratch it then put rubbing alcohol on it. Burn like crazy but killed the itch for a bit. Finally learned to identity it.
