He didn't cross the border one day and get a CDL the next.
The various policies allowing this by the Feds/States started softening during the Obama administration and the first Trump administration didn't little to change them.
But they really took on a new vigor during the Biden administration. These unqualified individuals have been entering the workforce for 15 years.
It has taken that long to start seeing the real effects.
The only reason I mention Buttigieg is that he has strong designs on the nomination for President in 2028. He was in a position to reverse the trend in the 4 years he was Secretary of the Dept. of Transportation..

 

Supposedly this is some of the school’s responsible……

Hmmmm….crossed into the US from Mexico, got his CDL in Manitoba, was driving for a company out of CA when the wreck occurred. Just goes to prove that pretty much nothing is enforced in this country and we’re all worse off for it.

 

He has no chance, nor any Dem at the moment, let alone a fairy.

 

Not to minimize what's going on in trucking. But we have helicopters flying into planes, fights in the control tower, air traffic control technology that has not been updated for decades..... Business as usual for the gubberment.
Cracking down on employers that hire illegals would be a good start. Have to wonder if the company even checked on his status or if he had some good fake documentation, stolen SSN etc.
