Were just from the generation of making sure your employer is satisfied with your work, I was taught o give 110%, if that makes my generation a gen of fools then so be it. I can go back to any employer and get rehired, not an issue. Because I made sure my job performance was the best I have to give.
Its called Pride in what you do, does not matter what you do for a living, but do it well.

I once got a little friendly with a truck stop waitress on my regular route and we went out a few times. She'd pick me up in her Mazda with a stickshift and ask me to drive. It was funny how the first time she asked if I could drive a manual trans. I said sure, but then I thought I wasn't the only trucker she dated. Some of the others probably couldn't handle a stick.

Good to know learning to drive stick has more benefits than just job opportunities, lol!

For a little but, but luckily your mom's been paying me to clean her plumbing.

It's the Big O endorsement. The DMV only does 5 questions for the written part, but requires a road test of sorts to demonstrate your skills on the examiner. However, you get a restriction - depending on whether the examiner is male or female.

Do those words have an address and when's a good time in your busy schedule to have this cleared up in person?

It was actually the first time in years that I had drivin a car with a manual. Even though I pumped 8 and ten gear trucks everyday for years. Even a 12 for a while. I had to remind myself not to double clutch. It was fun once I reaquainted myself. I even said Maybe I'll get myself one of these.

Naturally, she was like a lot of women who figured that I wanted to "Be the man" Drive on our date even though it was her car.
