All the while earning 10% less than an inexperienced Schneider hire, without having to run nights.

I am pretty sure that they'll make way more than a Schneider hire.

Think again. I worked for Schneider, I got a offer from Kwik Trip. Worked out to $83,000 at top pay, working 3rd shift with rotating weekends. Entry pay is $70,000.

So entry pay is $70K, entry pay at Schneider is $72K - without working nights or commuting costs.

Once you get seniority, it's a decent gig if you live withing 10 minutes of a park location and you can stand micro managing. Until you get seniority, it's a average money, low life gig. Not to mention the four thousand hoops you have to jump through to get an interview.

You made 83k your first year of trucking with Schneider (w/ no prior experience) is what you're telling me? Who said that entry pay is 70k? They were talking yearly averages. If you work your ### off you'd make way more than that even if you're just coming in the door with KT.
