90k gross annually on unrealistic numbers is STILL $5,000 - $15,000 less than what FCC is advertising.

And I say on unrealistic numbers because who works 52 weeks a year without a day off? What OTR driver that's not on a dedicated route (dedicated routes are extremely rare in truckload OTR for solo drivers who aren't teaming) is getting 3,000 miles per week with the truck never breaking down or never having bad weeks?

I'm sorry but drivers are not making 95k-105,000k per year at FCC, let's please be realistic about what these jobs claim to pay.

You are going to have a hard time finding 65cpm right now. Maybe you will but it will be like panning for gold, be hard to find one paying that. U may have to settle for 60 somewhere, and thats being generous for dry van.

Crete? Mesilla Valley Transportation? AN Webber? A quick search on the job feature on here pulled up a few companies as well as those. I'd look at New Legends Transportation also.

Thanks for the information. Crete has cameras, MVT is a larger company with bad reputation and I have Legend on my list to call though there's some negative reviews pertaining to communication and foreign dispatch.

Thanks for the break down and looking out. Its such a manipulating numbers game so it just makes me think its not any less a mind f### and money game than chancing it with lease op. Where you can at least say no to camera, no to loads that are not realistic etc and at worst you'll make what you'd make as company driver and can walk away if you pay attention to the contract information?

Did you communicate with any of the regular posters in the FCC thread?

Best way to learn what's real & what's not is to (of course) talk to at least one driver who's been there a while.

Also -- ask them about accessory pays:

Breakdown

Detention

Training

Orientation

hazmat loads (if any)

any others (besides safety)
