Or even afraid to drive. whew.

Old enough to drive trucks through a literal war zone on the other side of the planet but not able to be trained to drive one down the interstate?

We should be training people to drive better than we do already when they are younger. Making people wait until they are 21 means they have to spend 3 years starting some other career so they never even look into driving. Then we can just continue to import drivers over 21 to continue driving the wrong way down interstates and making U turns across 4 lanes of highway traffic.

The drivers age has nothing to do with it.

About 90% of the time I pass an LTL truck driven by "experienced" drivers who are all clearly in their 50s+ there's a cellphone attached to the dash with video playing.

Let's not even begin to pretend that younger drivers are the only ones who drive impaired or distracted.

Today made 20 years Mrs. Oldskool and I been hitched up. I ask her when she picked the date why she wanted to get married on the 22nd, her answer was, because surely you won’t forget it the day after your birthday. Dam’d if didn’t forget the card! She’ll come home from class and find one after I head out to Tennessee here shortly. You’d think I had enough practice after 20 years…
