This got me stumped! IsxTurbo actuator... 20251110_135036.jpg 20251110_134928.jpg
How does coolant get into the bottom end of it. 20251110_134928.jpg 20251110_140219.jpg
It's the 3rd actuator and they all do the same thing. 20251110_141335.jpg
    Please Y'all got any ideas?

Feedman, Gatordude, CAXPT and 8 others Thank this.

    Some questions.
What is the engine year model, EGR?
    Are you losing any coolant?
Do you have any signs of coolant on either side of the turbo?
Does the internal turbo actuator gear move freely and easily?
When replacing the unit, are you putting all new “O” rings in?
Last one, did you run an install and calibration cycle?

Is no orings..just one gasket on the bottom.
Spline moves easily. Had the 2nd one mounted n calibrated n thought I was done..till it started pissing again. 20251110_144214.jpg 20251110_143647.jpg
Truck is running in pics...there's a drop hanging off the spline top pic, bottom pic it's foaming out the frost plug type of thingy but it quit after it heated up a bit.

Was going to ask about the freeze plugs. Think that is where your problem is.
You get some leakage and it works its way up into the electrical circuit and shorts out the pc board.
The freeze plugs are replaceable. Whats the miles/time on that turbo? It may be better to replace the turbo, could be a lower cost in the long run.

Saw where transportation secretary said shippers are gonna be responsible for who they load , said if you load it you own it . Not a big rig twucker but sounds like some responsibility is aboot to be handed out .
