Here at the house, I Make a quick “Butter sauce curry”. Basically what you have listed for spices, just a minor change of sequence.
Once the meat was mostly browned, add in about 1/4 stick butter and melt, 3 or 4 tablespoons tomato paste, enough stock to mix everything together and have some liquid in it. Bring up to a low simmer, maybe 3 or 4 minutes, then add your frozen vegetables. When they are defrosted, add cream stir well, and often, let simmer about 5 or so minutes to heat through. Should have said the cream is 1/4 to 1/3 cup.
