Thank you. Love those 80’s Hondas. Remember when those came out. They used to have amateur road races in austin back when aqua fest was a thing. Dude that worked at Woods Honda had a brand new Vfr 750 he entered. I didn’t see it happen but he lost it and wrecked. He was literally crying. Felt bad for him.

 

Had the 750 version of that. Then I got one of these, and sold the Honda.

 

Skipping pages ? I think the missing key is gone for good. BUT. I have two (2) extra keys as I was a Boy Scout in a previous life.

 

Remember when those came out too. Beautiful.

 

ohhhh I'd be sick! The first ride I took on the VF I opened it up to let her eat on the new pavement into town. Stopped at the A&W for a root beer and the side panel was gone! I was beside myself, retraced my tracks and it was right where I had been going the fastest, found the panel in the ditch without a scratch. Got super lucky, where the he!! would a guy find a replacement? oof

 

Gorgeous, always loved those as well.

How much? That's a solid 11 second 1/4 mile bike.


In my head the gsxr 1100 is mighty. But it only makes 135 HP. New bikes make 190 at the wheel.

 

I scooped it for 2300 Canadian. 50,000 original kms, 30,000 mi. I believe the 1000F made 122hp.
