I want to choose my loads. Basically, I want a steady run so that i have the same sleep schedule. So I don't really need to lease to do that, but it's hard to find a company that has a regular run. And it's impossible to know what the company is like until you start working there.
Are there any leasing companies that allow the driver to choose his own loads? Or maybe the dispatcher is there as support?
These are all the things I'm looking for in a company that I'd lease from:
Profitable
New trucks
***Preferably the company does some or all maintenance
***Trucks aren't governed
There's no obnoxious safety department
Trailers are well maintained. I'd be open to renting a trailer as long as I'm still making a good profit
***Trucks are kitted with basic amenities, like a fridge, A/C and heat
No inward facing cameras
Preferably just a simple cruise control, I don't actually like the cruise control that slows down on its own
****Routes along the i-10, 20, or 40, maybe coast to coast. I don't like driving in the snow. I know I'm coming off like a princess here but that is what I'm looking for. I'm able to drive in mountains but I prefer not to.
Dispatchers are friendly and professional, and the company has a modern, upbeat atmosphere
Preferably the routes are scheduled with reasonable appointment times, enough wiggle room so I can sleep properly and arrive a couple hours early if there weren't any delays
And ideally the shippers and receivers are quick and efficient
I wouldn't mind loading or unloading with a pallet jack or forklift, myself, if it's not impossibly heavy, and I'm not sleepy.
Are there any leasing companies that check all these boxes? Has anybody had any experience with a company that matches some or all of these things?

Best of luck with your search. If you find that company that lets you lease a truck, pick your loads, covers repairs and avoids snow and mountains, let me know.
TheLoadOut, LoneRanger, Crude Truckin' and 5 others Thank this. -
That sounds like you need a local job.
Everything that you're trying to avoid, they call it "trucking."
Even if you could pick your loads, you won't be profitable being so rigid.TheLoadOut, FullMetalJacket, Concorde and 1 other person Thank this. -
There’s always DoorDash, but then you cover repairs
TheLoadOut, Crude Truckin', Concorde and 1 other person Thank this. -
Closest thing to that would be to lease on to someone like Swift and get on a Walmart or other dedicated account on one of thier southern DCs.
SandyEggo518, Wickedfire77 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Do you have a feeling this is a troll post?
TheLoadOut, Crude Truckin' and Eddiec Thank this. -

TheLoadOut Thanks this. -
SWIFT, Prime, superego holdings, western express. All great companies to work for. The harder you work, the less they pay you.
TheLoadOut, Kenworth6969 and Numb Thank this. -
I'm looking for a leasing company that lets me dispatch myself that runs in the south coast to coast
The other stuff was other things that i'm also looking for in a company.
