I know and I appreciate the concern that I may not be invited here, I am a fan of Dieselbears post not yours or gramps about whatever the restraint is all about especially with solo drivers... But I appreciate your comments. Thanks. TREY(PROPER SPELLING) BUT(proper spelling and usage) you can comment about anything I'm involved in, I can counter with properly spelled words and phrases. Thanks. TD.
Just some of the stupid things I see

Are you telling me that it's NOT???Oh NOOOO mr. billlll..... -
................Look, as was said earlier. These threads have a way of meandering all over God's creation. We all like to read what DB has seen, and it points us in a different direction as was witnessed by the restraint conversation.

Ok, Thanks. -
Thanks guys for all your posted opinions. This discussion has obviously run its course when it turns personal. I don't want to have to close this thread of DB's.
Just drop the issue, sit back and relax. DB will be along shortly with another entertaining tale.RW., Optimus, SLCTrucker and 9 others Thank this. -
He COULD make a bunch of business cards for free for the site though, and hand em out to people. "Hate me? Argue about it here! blahblah.com!"
The FMCSA regulation search seems to be down, but its right in there with all the other equipment requirements...right next to "sleeper must be bigger than an actual coffin", "sleeper must be designed so that someone else doesnt have to be dragging you out by your feet", and all kinds of other obvious sleeper regulations.. i'll get you an actual copy/paste and regulation number later!Big Don Thanks this. -
Post #152 in this thread has all of that info quoted straight from the FMCSA site. -

HAHAAA !
Now on with the stories from the shicken coops-roadside! -
Had a good one today for a false log book. Guy gets a agricultural inspection and seal from Florida Ag folks which gives him a document that dates and shows the time for the seal replacement. However, this fella already logs himself at Latta, SC during the time the agricutural check occured. Then while in Orlando getting the trailer worked on according to the receipt he showed himself in Brunswick, GA. Only about 12 hours off by the receipt. During the previous 7 days this falla had 23 receipts, 1 traffic citation and 2 DOT inspections that did not match his log book. He didn't give the inspections up, they were found in the fed system. His traffic citation fell out of his overgead compartment and fell to my feet while he was looking for his registration. It amazes me that I stop someone and ask for their registration and they mull through 50 pieces of loose, folded up, balled up, torn pieces of paper and somehow they find it. Why not put it in a binder, a registration holder and have your sheet in order. The steering wheel holders never seem to amaze me. Oh then his statement to me. "I think my log book could be a little messed up." He stated this as I was returning to the car.
outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.
