My early days working in the woods that sound of a Garrett skidder with a little V pulling a turn WFO is still clear in my memory.

 

I’d really like to get my hands on an 8v92 ddec 1. I know absolutely zero about them, but I bet they could be made to do something. Even if it’s crude early electronics.

####ing tank heaters are busting the bungs out. On both sides. I never would have ordered them, but it came with them. I believe I am about to delete them and braze the cracks. And go to town and find some aluminum plate. And cover the hole.

What are we looking at there? I see the crack in the weld and the missing bolts but it doesn't look like a wheel hub.

I haven't seen a tank heater on a truck in years. I thought they were a thing of the past.

 

The bolts aren’t missing. I removed them to see what kind of #### show is on my hands

 

Bought it during Covid. I couldn’t get the one I wanted built. This one was in Chicago and was built to run the upper Midwest. Not something I need in sunny Dixie land

 

Yep it was surreal driving through it, seeing the big steel towered lines twisted up like a play toy laying on the ground
