I had Arctic Fox heaters on the T600 I had, and was always concerned that the tubes would crack inside the tank and put coolant in the fuel.
Are you going to have to drop the tanks to get those out?

Yep, I gotta pull the tanks. There isn’t enough room to get them all the way out. I really need to pull them anyway. The crack is 3/4 the way around. It will be much easier to get to the back side with them off the truck.cke, CAXPT, broke down plumber and 7 others Thank this.

Really with as much hot fuel as a modern engine returns I don’t see a need for them. If it was an old b model maybe, but they didn’t return a lot.

Crap, now you're going to make me brave the sub-zero temps and go out and look at mine.
All of our trucks have had tank heaters for years and no problems like this.cke, CAXPT, broke down plumber and 10 others Thank this. -

I only noticed it because every time I filled the tanks full I would leak. If you don’t have a leak I wouldn’t worry about itcke, CAXPT, broke down plumber and 8 others Thank this.

Sounds like a good idea. I’m on my second beer trying to build the gumption to pull it off. Retirement is looking pretty good. Maybe I can find a sugar momma.blairandgretchen, cke, beastr123 and 13 others Thank this.
