Poster, you really don't have a clue about what you're going to get, do you???
Some of those "Euro-trash cabs" are really well-made, and have 4-point cab suspensions. Yeah, they are small, but I'd take one of those over ANY newer Freightliner cab!
After 7 years of driving OTR, I decided to try writing fiction, since trucking gave me so much practice. I'm a manufacturing engineer today, but writing logbooks taught me enough to know how to 'stretch the truth' to almost unfathomable amounts when creating 1st Article Inspection reports.....

Honestly one of my biggest problems with trucking is the four wheeler drivers that try to help me. It’s frustrating because they mean it well, but when they try to let me go first at a 4 way stop, or sit right in my way when I’m trying to turn it’s just frustrating. I would rather they just drive legally. Also I do delivery work and people love to park right in the way of trucks in parking lots. Bonus points if you get out and stand for a bit looking at the truck you just parked in, then calmly walk inside.

Yeah well.....food courtesy of the company ain't going to get all that thought that you laid out from me. I'm just going to eat it and be on my way. Never been one to do much complaining on these highways. I just drive. If they view me as meat in the seat, so what. I am. If I fall off this earth, someone will be in my seat tomorrow. So yes I will stay in my lane of humble pie and remember that I'm replaceable like everyone else is. It's better to see the industry for what it is. Not how I want it to be.Lonesome Thanks this.

Been may years ago and I sure wouldn't go to Boystown now.Star Rider and 77fib77 Thank this.

Eat the hotdog and stay in your lane. Stay on welfare. Wait for BigBrother to tell you how to think. It I’d the better way. Got it.Wargames, OldeSkool and TurkeyCreekJackJohnson Thank this.

Lol..... society definitely tells people how to think, and what to like, but not this guy here. The irony in your post though...I get so entertained by your sarcasm in your posts when your attempts to influence thinking falls flat. Gotta do what Six says ladies and gentlemen. All TTR members should wait for Six to tell you how to think....you might even get a mini 3rd person dialogue in a post. Lololololol
By the way, pass the mustard. -
I’ll do anything you ask of me when I’m out on the road. ill push through anything thrown at me out here…I’ll run as hard as I need to for any load. I’ll go anywhere. I’ll drive in any weather as long as the road is open. Etc etc, in exchange, CAN I PLEASE HAVE MY ALLOTTED HOME TIME?!? You know the time the company told me when I was hired I can get? Lol
And ten years OTR, only 1 holiday off, I’ve ran them all, as I just ran over thanksgiving week and now Christmas and new years, yet again. -
Well, you must not have read the fine print.
You see, some drivers simply have to get the shaft constantly so we can please the favorites.

Is it my fault?“Free food “ is the kryptonite of your people. In prison, it makes you girlfriend material. Always crying about racism and reparations, but first in line for “free.” Go right ahead. Your buns hurt and you have a bad taste in your mouth, but it was FREE!Wargames Thanks this.
