"I had a newbie ask me this one day.....and my jaw dropped!"

I had just backed in to a slot at a truck stop with my Swift HH rig (4 axle tractor, 4 axle trailer). As I got out, a driver said: "Man that's alot of axles. Why do you have so many?" Without missing a beat, I smiled and said: "I'm a new driver. The extra 3 axles are my training wheels!". Turned out he was an O/O and he bought me breakfast for making him laugh....

 

That is a sub-standard wage for the trucking industry and something needs to be done to right this wrong..lol.. good for you UPSF'rs and you know I mean that..

 

Jake your story about "no fear Mike" made me think of a friend of mine that I used to run with hauling cars,...

He was east bound on 94 in WI about 25 miles out of the Cites,...He came up on a accident that had both lanes closed and the State Patrol was sending everybody up a off ramp to detour around the accident,..

Now this particular off ramp was under construction and you guessed it, He managed to get the hauler hung up making the turn blocking off the whole detour,........So with roughly 5 miles of traffic backed up behind him he unloads 10 cars moves the truck and reloads and hauls arse!!!,....

I learned a awful lot just from his mistakes from when he started out and it made things a lot easier for me when I started,....

 

I wish I could learn from no fear mikes mistakes but I'm not sure he has ever mis-judged - I can only imagine the precision of his break and hook on the narrow residential streets of Brooklyn while he was on the phone with me - it was probably surgical.. He's a credit to the industry man.. Dude will take a Brooklyn or Elmsford via at 5 AM with no sweat - I get pissed if I have to go back through Baltimore at 3 AM.. He has my full respect..

 

We need more posts like this. Call me a perv... but.....

 

Chica's.. God I love chica's.. I have always managed to find great chica's but between great chica's I've always managed to find the useful chica's.. I'm currently dating another big brain that has a ton of potential.. I really hope this one works out but if not there are plenty of useful chica's out there..

 

Hmmm,..........I've never been one to worry about a broad with a big brain,......,............................Maybe I've been looking at it wrong??

 

Big brains are the only way to go.. I've always managed to out kick my coverage when it comes to woman for some reason.. The latest one is pretty typical of the girls of dated in the fact her I's are dotted and her T's are crossed but I have to say she is definitely a better match for me than the others.. Awesome girl that I can honestly say may have my butt back in the city P&D segment of LTL in a hurry..

 

Oh.. I thought it was the cars.. They are nice to have.. hehehehe..
