My favorite JBH story was when one tried to recruit me at the Iowa 80 Truckers Jamboree in Walcott. The guy came up to me saw my CRST hat (not that CRST is much better) and asked if I remembered him from orentation with CRST. He proceeded to tell me that because he remembered me he wanted to help me get on with JBH and make real money. I told him unless he was in 'black face' he wasn't there because I was the only white guy in my orientation. And if he was in 'black face' then I find that raciest and i would never work for someone that would hire someone like him. There is no way to explain the amount of confusion I saw on his face as I walked away.

I received a message over the obc a while back about recruiting, I believe, CRST drivers. It said that a judge had ordered JB employees to stop trying to recruit CRST drivers that were under contract with CRST or something like that.

Yeah. JB hunt recruiters were even ringing the payphones in CRST's breakrooms in an attempt to find fresh meat.

I don't know about a court order but CRST has had a lot of problem with JBH. I know CRST has threatned designated fuel stopes with canceling contracts (and they have done it in the past) if they don't make JBH drivers leave us alone. JBH is constantly waking us up where ever we are, waiting next to our trucks after we fuel. I don't even wear CRST shirts and hats any more. I have about $200 worth from saftey bonuses and other things that I can't wear because JBH will latch on to us like a lost kid. Someone told me that JBH actually posted memos listing the easiest drivers to recruit by company. I don't know if thats true though.

I figured it was more a recruiter problem than a driver problem. I dont see many JB drivers trying to recruit other drivers. I havent tried to recruit anybody since Ive been with them for a year and a half.

I would think driver morale at JB Hunt would be entirely too low for a driver to think about recruiting another driver.

If you say so, but if I were one of them I'd just be too disgusted to bother with any sort of recruiting.

The thing's i could say about JB Hunt, watch your back, they stab deep.
If anyone is considering driving for JB, do some research on them, you may change your mind in a hurry.
I wish i had done my home work before i went to work for them.
