All i said is i dont log it until im done and ready to leave. Since I just drove for 5 hours and i might have been off duty for 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending on what i did, I might be a few minutes off. What's so hard to understand about that?

Will you receive a ticket? Most likely not, unless the dot officer happens to find you at the time and is a real jerk. -
Whaddyamean wash your hands????? Real truckers don't wash their hands! That's for sissies man! Beside...I gotta get to the buffet first!
Say it ain't so! -
one of the fingers is ripped out of my gloves and i forgot to replace it when i was at walmart. Dont wanna spend the truckstop price...
As far as inspection, I was just saying i can do it. Fine, I usually don't. The company doesn't give a #### about that trailer and neither do I. I've seen them put fresh DOT stickers on trailers that are falling apart, why should I do any different. I dont care. -
You gotta check brake lights and blinkers too as this is the only communication between you and the traffic around you. If your brake lights and signals aren't working it could cause an accident.
Personally I want to know my brakes are working like they should because that's the difference between life and death. -
They all work before i take off. I hooked to a trailer with non working brakes once, and noticed it before i took off. And fixed it.

Lucky me...Never had back problems.
I've gotten myself in the habit of logging it "as I do it" If I note the change of duty when I arrive somewhere and then again when I leave I don't have to sit there thinkin'..."Now, What time was it when I got here?" -
