    To summarize....

We have a guy with 2 whole years of driving experience attempting to "school" those with 20+ years of experience.

    It's amusing to watch.

I'm tryin' to figure out exactly how to log it when my seats leanin' back so far that my heads in the bunk and my ### is in the seat!

I might need some kind of a special 2 color pen so I can designate both locations and then make a notation as to what my duty status is...Or might be.:biggrin_25523:

I think everyone has missed one major point.

You can receive a ticket for this if the right jerk is there to write it.

You can go to court for the ticket, but it does not mean you will win.

Failure to win the ticket to your favor does not make the ticket right.

    (sigh...)

Why do people try to make this so friggin' complicated.

    1) you have a 14 hr window in which to DRIVE 11 hrs.

    2) if are DRIVING you are on line 3

    3) if you are NOT DRIVING you are doing something else. Look around, take a breath, figure out just what it is that you are doing, then relax.

    4) if you are NOT DRIVING, you are on line 1,2 or, 4 see # three (above) for direction and log it appropriately. BTW if you can't look around to see what you are doing, you're probably asleep. In that case ...... if you nod forward and bang your head on the steering wheel, I would log on line 1. If you woke up when you rolled out of bed you would be on line 2.

sheesh peope it ain't rocket science.

Failure to win against a ticket you feel is wrong does not make the ticket right.

No, No, No.....You're oversimplifying a highly complex recordkeeping device that defies simple explanation and is CHOCK FULL of hidden traps and grey areas that defy explanation...

Let me explain it to you.....:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
