How're they checkin' that? It hasn't been implemented yet.

I'd tell'em to stick it in their #####...But of course I wouldn't be applying for one of those jobs anyway.

    So....What's your point?:biggrin_2559:

I've seen a few that probably have to look at their fuel card to know what truck to get in at the truckstop...

    Imagine that!

I finally agree with you about something.

I'd just be honest with them about it and hope for the best...

It's amazing that people think this way. The more b.s we gotta deal with the better, right?

Unfortunately, that won't work if you're speaking with a hard ###. The IRS will provide you with copies of your tax returns, from as far back as you need.

But it can take up to 6 months to work the request through the system.

How do I know ?? Been there, done that. Told the company to #### off after speaking with the IRS. I don't have 6 months to sit and wait....so I can be reduced to "trainee" status requiring a trip BACK to school with a trainer that has less than a years' experience.

The only legitimate reason I can see for having to provide a W-2 is to verify employment for a company that has gone out of business. If you don't want them to know how much you made, black out that info. And of course, only give them copies.

I wouldn't do it. Anyone that uptight would be hell to work for. Not worth the wear on my nerves.

Most of them back off the request, if you show your ###.

    Then they pencil in....unemployed.

Hell I don't keep records that far back. And don't know anyone, other than my mother, who does.

I have nothing in my past either with my driving history or work history that I need to hide from,...

I'm not saying either of you gentleman do either,...

However,...I think that taking more bad drivers off of the road the better,..

I have the last two years, maybe three. Unfortunately for those control freaks, they can't actually say whether I'm unemployed or not.
