Pulling the "i'm being discriminated agaist" card aren't we?

When its not some minority pulling the race card at every perceived slight, it's some woman complaining about "the old boys' club" when she doesn't get her way.

Now its spoilt truckdrivers moaning everytime somebody doesn't roll out some red carpet for them. At least minorities and women can't change their circumstances . To all the sensitive truck drivers out ther, consider a change of career. I'm not suggesting accepting everything dished out,but realize the world doesn't revolve around us. Sure, America stops without truckers. But when I'm sick I don't look for a trucker. When I call 911, I don't expect a trucker to answer. The mess that truckers leave in people's parking lots is not cleaned by truckers, and I could go on. We are but 1 of many cogs in a machine. If you all don't want to get over yourselves, that's okay by me. I'm over myself a long time now. The world doesn't owe me a thing, neither do I demand anything of the world.

Because some construction worker did some repairs to my house, or a firefighter put out a fire at my house or a landscaper cut my lawn, does not automatically give them the right to have access to my house at their convenience. Just because I did my job and took some product to some distribution centre, doesn't make them obligated to turn their property into a truckstop for my convenience, even when their screwup puts me over hours. It also doesn't,in my opinion, makes them owe it to me to allow me to park at one of their stores. It would be good if they did,but they all don't. Get over it.

If they don't want your business , don't patronize them.

You have that EXACTLY right! In the Dayton, Ohio area, it's Sandy's towing. They are in cahoots with just about every suburb of Dayton. Every morning the send a truck out patrolling the usual places, Walmarts, Meijers, etc, where the trucks end up parking to take a break and collect their cash. One time it cost me $300 to sit down at the local Big Boy and eat dinner with my kids, because I dared to leave my truck parked outside.

Not only does some stores not want truckers... They are planning on hauling their own freight from suppliers. Though they might create jobs within their own company, they will be robbing from many like me that frequent Walmart DC's.

Each Walmart is fed by community input. The ones that don't want us there don't want to see us period. They want us do deliver and disappear.

Then again some truckers that think Walmart is for their 10 hour break, litter and urinate in the parking lot is making it hard on the rest of us.

They all can't. Some of them just don't have enough room. The one in Nesho, Mo is friendly to truckers while the one in Springfield isn't, because they simply have the space there at the Neosho store to accommodate us. Tomorrow I'll be heading up I81 to Harrisburg, I need to stop somewhere to get my blood pressure pills refilled. I'm not going to pull into the one in Hagerstown, because it's packed full of cars, so I will either hit the one at the mall in Martinsburg, WV or the one in Carlisle, Pa because they have more room .

Walmart drivers have always pulled their own freight from suppliers. They get back hauls about half the time, this is nothing new. There's no way the Walmart private fleet can bring them all their freight. Not even close.

:biggrin_255:If they have the bars up just go in the entrance that the DELIVERY TRUCKS go in,do your shopping quick and leave. Maybe they dont want trucks tearing up the main parking lot,but there is always a way into a walmart, they all have docks dont they?
