    That might work for you,.........

However I hate local radio,.....I hate the commercials on local radio,.....And I really don't care for the local news either,.....

My lifetime subscription to Sirius satellite radio is the best money I have ever spent,..........

Drives me nuts when I have the fiance in a vehicle with me...every time the music stops, she's reaching to flip channels. She doesn't care if it's a commercial (which I don't mind missing) or a news/weather/traffic report....if they are talking, she's flipping the station. Hard to find out what's going on in the 'hood when you don't listen to the between-the-music parts of the programming.:biggrin_25513:

WD-40, PB Blaster, and a few other varieties....all found in my tool box. But then again, my tool box is stocked better than most truck tool boxes.:biggrin_2556:

Well the gadgets have been a helpful bit of info but just a few more days and I will be goin for the physical and drug screening. I was hoping that some of the guys here that drive a flatbed would post some of thier load pics. Where it is on the trailer, how they secured it, ways to put tarps on ect. I will be mainly hauling steel and have not had any experience with that so anything you can offer would be great. I know the " if you think 5 chains use 6" deal but I want to see pics. I look at all the trucks up and down the highway everyday but dont know why they do the things they do. So lets see some of your loads and how and why you chain/strap the way you do.

A strap winder is a huge necessity / time saver when unloading multiple times a day.

If your runs are planned ahead of time google earth maps with street views are nice. I have xm radio because of the crap that is on locally during the day. I do a lot of overnight runs also. Cb's are a must for any driver.

Well I didnt get my screen name by not having CBs. I must have about 20 or so layin around. Talk on some of them daily. I think I got the major helpful items together. Just really would like to see some loads and how they are secured. Especially before I get out on the road and hurt myself or someone else. Thanks
