Well, I finally ran out of hours altogether. I'm stuck here at the Petro in N Little Rock and won't be running again until friday. Too bad my walmart load is due thursday.
I don't have a lot of hope in anyone getting me a repower.
Where are those loads with lot's of extra time that I could swap out with and sit on without a problem?!
Seems there would be at least one here. Let's see...the 20, 30 and 40 all pass thru town. You'd think they'd come up with one.
Oh well. At least this place has a movie theatre.

Sitting in Ontario. Had a pick this morning at White Wave foods in Rowland Heights (or City of Industry, depending who you ask lol). One pallet of soy milk. Took two hours. Now back at TA west waiting to drive back to La Puente to Versacold to piclup the other 32000 lbs of product, destined for WM in Cheyenne and some little dairy in Longmont, CO.

Guess who gets to run the night shift for the next two nights? :/

And we all know where one goes after getting empty in Colorado.....say it with me now class.......THE MEAT PATCH!!!!! :D

Glad to hear everyone is doing well (except for a few potholes)

####, wish I had checked the forum yesterday! I'll be there for part of Friday. My truck is waiting on the body shop. sigh, Sigh and SIGH!!!
I'll have glasses, jeans, a green dress shirt and black and white Goodwrench ball cap.
Probably won't be in until afternoon, just to check, because the shop guy laughed when I asked if the truck might be ready tomorrow (Friday). Probably going to be here Monday. FRICK. Paying for my own room at Crossland until tomorrow. If I have to stay all weekend, I'll take the free room at Americas Worst.

You missed it big time. I managed to achieve escape velocity Wednesday and roll all the way with my student to Wamsutter wy as of last night. Have a repower in SLC going back to Iowa instead of spending a couple days up in Washington to drop off this load that has way too much time on it.

Maybe the Apple store in SLC will have a new iPhone for me.:)

Now I'm beginning to get pissed off!
I've been trying to get to Boise for home time for three weeks. They keep telling me there's nothing going to the NW. I asked for Boise, Seattle or Portland...here I sit in TN!
And I would have been willing to babysit that load..Finally gave up and did a restart.

don't you just love the lies?????

Well technically not lies, they did not have a load at that moment going to the northwest, maybe a few hours away, but they don't look that far ahead.

Pinocchio wouldn't be allowed to be a dispatcher. His nose would punch through all the walls and be a hazard to traffic out in the yard and on Military Parkway by lunch first day. lol
So go onto the yard today to check on my truck, hoping against logic it would be ready to go. Bay5 window says they are done with it and to check with the body shop and see if they are. I say I know they aren't, as the cracked tank skirt is still there and they haven't changed the door lock yet and it was hard to get into still. And bay2 still hasn't corrected the APU problem, as I had to have it jump started today to take it to the body shop so the guy there could have a look at it.
So, looks like Monday at the soonest. I'll check tomorrow, but, uh, yeah.
I also am paying for my own hotel room at Crossroads. Nice to have privacy at the hotel! Good thing I did, too. Found a laptop at the pawn shop for $150. He wanted $499, but I pointed out what didn't work, and the fact that windows was a trial version that would expire in three days. Talked him down and walked out with it. Dell Inspiron 9400 dual 1.66 core, only 512MB memory though, and a cheap Intel graphics cards. I can get more memory cheap though. Also have my Windows Vista install CD for the old laptop, so I'm going to install that tonight and jump through Microshafts hoops to get it activated. And I don't game, so the video chipset works fine to play dvds, once I installed the dvd drive from my dead laptop.
Hope you are all doing well. I'm about to fix mostaciolli for dinner and watch some Friday night tv.
    Keep the shiny side up!

Body shop does not work weekends. APU's are last priority, if they get fixed. Got to love being stuck on the yard. A private hotel room is worth the cost to me also. Enjoy your new computer.
