"Did you know that your sleeper berth is required to have a mattress and a blanket?"

I have a super hero blanket and matching underwear. Does that count?

    (e) Equipment. A sleeper berth must be properly equipped for sleeping. Its equipment must include:
(e)(1) Adequate bedclothing and blankets; and
    (e)(2) Either:
(e)(2)(i) Springs and a mattress; or
    (e)(2)(ii) An innerspring mattress; or
(e)(2)(iii) A cellular rubber or flexible foam mattress at least four inches thick; or
(e)(2)(iv) A mattress filled with a fluid and of sufficient thickness when filled to prevent "bottoming-out" when occupied while the vehicle is in motion.

It sure does! But they prefer the Superman jamies with the little foot booties built in! :)

To me it does. Who knows. I do not keep "bedclothing" in my truck, i usually sleep in clothes or in shorts. Never had a problem with that.

    lollllllllll
    HAHAHAHAHAHA
Darn it, I don't have a werner logbook anymore...left em all in the truck. They were canadian legal logbooks. If i still had one I'd scan it for you! Canadian logbooks have a place to put start/end odometer milage on the log page itself, and you have to mark what "cycle" you're using...for the 70 hour/8 day rule, 60 hour/7 day rule, etc, basically. I suppose you could use a normal logbook and just write the extra info in.

Also, you only have to log it that way if you are in canada. You can not get tickets for logbook violations that did not occur in the country. For example, as an american driver, if you go to canada, you can drive under their rules (13 driving hours in a 15 hour day iirc), and come back to the us and they cant do anything about it...just gotta watch the 70.

DDL software is great, a the end of the day you still need to print out 2 copies though. You have to physically sign, electronic signature is not legal or accepted. I see no reason for deleting these, being software you can print DOT a copy of the last 7 days anytime they want it.

So far as soon as you tell them its on the computer they loose interest.
