Just an FYI for you all the only reason I know the whole whats Prime stand for is because I would hear it from other drivers when I drove for Prime.

Not putting you down, but really, did you actually talk to the drivers with some real experience? They have a completely different view, and are for the most part very successful at this with Prime. -
Not the Prime drivers the drivers on the road that would be talking #### about Prime just like they do on here. I wont talk #### about them because I liked them and I see nothing wrong with Prime at all. I enjoyed my time with them and would go back I just dont like the whole paperless logs.

O.K
my nerves are a little shot right now. My trainer (been with him since Tuesday, July,6) gives me the keys this morning, we were in Kansas City, and tells me to drive. Well I have no problem with this as I have done most of the driving since he picked me up..... O.K with me I need driving time. However I did not think he was going to have me drive from Kansas City, through Denver, and then!!!!!!!!!!!! You got it down Donners Pass
I am not at all sure I was ready for that. I made it. But it seems to me you would have some sort of other mountain driving, prior to being thrown down that pass. I am wore out after that. I know I need the experience just seems I could have done some other mountain driving. I was thinking he would drive down the pass and explain to me what and why he was diong things. To me kind of dangerous to put a newbie down that pass for the first time. What are you guys thoughts. Would you have done the same thing or what would you have done.

So you don't want to go out with another driver for a week or two to get the hang of it? My advice is to change your mind on that one! -
Donner is easy... Considerably more difficult in winter... no 25 or 35 mph truck limit if I remember correctly.
Where you thinking of the pass up near the Eisenhower tunnel East of Vail?
I just sent my trainee through there (Denver thru Glenwood Springs on I70 West)... I could of had him do it at night, but I love that Glenwood Canyon drive view so much I never pass up an opportunity to see it during daylight.
He had no problems, I got up and sat with him... a few pointers here and there but he had it down by himself. His first big one... a few days later he did Tejon out in CA... with a half a trailer.AZ CATS Thanks this. -
