Most don't care, as all the liability is on you, if I were you, and theres other o/os that will agree, stay company, unless you have a nice lil in with someone, If you can't run a business or have someone that you know who can, you might be better off, but theres plenty of other things you need to think of as well.

Snuffy, ride on someone elses insurance, fuel and repair bill for about 2 years to get that experience under your wings.
Those 3 things can break a new O/O quickly.

Well I have already been on a fleece program with KLLM and can't get the taste
out my system. they want a professional driver but don't want to be a professional
company. 2 pts on my record and get BS request to call claims about an accident
that didn't happen, get canned, comdata account froze with 2800.00 bucks in it
that they used up to make payments on the truck they already had fleeced to any sucker.
Ruined my DAC so no one will look at me for a job. So I ask you "What would you do"

Not be an O/o as a new driver. That is what happens! Now you can help spread the word! If you do not have $10,000 set aside to do it yourself then DO NOT DO IT! If you are a professional driver than you will know this. Being an o/o is a business. If someone just gave you a business shouldn't you be a little leary? (fleece program) Kickin Chicken knows what they are talking about. Give it a couple of years. Don't be so anxious to make your mistakes on your dime. These companies make it sound so easy and are offering fleece programs to drivers that haven't even learned to BACK-UP yet! I know of one company that lets you fleece after three months. Why do you think they are so anxious to have you pay for the truck? Because they have to right now, and it sucks!!!! They are tired of drivers beating the hell out of their trucks and burning their fuel and making truck payments. What a good idea! Make it easier for someone else too! Right? That's if you can get another job now with your DAC looking like it does. On your DAC I bet it reads TRUCK ABANDONMENT_FAILURE TO PAY FLEECE_ BLAH BLAH BLAH DONT HIRE THIS GUY!!!! Sorry, hopefully you can join all the other people on this forum to help it prevent it happening to someone else. Maybe you can come up with a way to make them listen to you too!

Thanks Compi, but I had the dream that it would work, then poof its gone.
Don't know why every one knows the DAC is a rip off, but most companies still use it like its a Bible.

I can back up- been going backwards all my life! LOL
