I have been seeing Central drivers all over the northeast.
I guess they moved them all my way. Especially on 90 and 80.
    Every other truck is Central.

Well... c/s screwed the pooch on this one!!!! In the notes for this load they indicated a problem with the product. So I've been sending messages, calling and asking if everything was alright for the p/u at 01. "Yeah it's good" they tell me. I get to the 01 and the pu number is wrong. Of course n/w had just came on and c/s is gone for the night, and they won't release the load w/o the correct pu number. Just about ready to drive my truck into c/s and ask WTF with my steers on their desk!

Thats nothing! My load which i got yesterday 7/14 info says preloaded trl at swcclo with appt 7/15 at 1900. I get here at 2030, check in and tell him that it should be a preloaded trl. The clerk looks at me and says, "we didnt preload because we dont have central trls" SO i finish giving all my info and he gets on the phone and talks to someone else then comes back to me. Apparently since we didnt show up on 7/13 when the original appt was scheduled they gave the product to someone else yesterday and now have to make my product. So they are letting me sleep here in the yard while they make my cheese. Another service fail thats not my fault. I think this one might have been brokered... at least thats what the clerk told me.

you know, im actually finding my adventures in the southern states slightly amusing. Out of the 7 loads i had while down here only 1 didnt have a problem with it.

Man.. Even with those problems it must be nice.. My apu is actually a froze up ac compressor and broke belt.. And 2 tks haven't had the parts to fix it.. So I have had to come home and take a few personal days.. So I'm not for sure if ill be leaving back out with central or not.. Things have been bad since I leased and I can't get anyone to help me past my next load.. Their promises of more miles and a more reliable dms just fall thru.. So I'm taking a few days to think it thru and check out my options.. Maybe locally or thru another smaller company that doesn't train 50 people a week.. So I sure hope to keep in touch with ya'll and I would love to leave back out with central.. But I'm gunna have to get a huge, reliable piece of information and a followed thru promise of atleast 2500 a week..

Well, finished off a perfectly crappy day by cracking my hood and bumper on a pole while grabbing the last parking spot at this TA. Missed the pole with the trailer, missed it with the tractor backing, then when I go to pull forward to straighten the trailer.... scrape and crackle. :(

The ####### load was cancelled so I was already ###### off and frustrated (which I know I shouldn't drive in that state of mind, especially backing) so it just made things worse. Funny thing is I survived 18 or so hours at the ex Flying J now Love's in Tacoma and my 99.

Maybe tomorrow will be better if I don't get fired?

AHHHH you wrecked your cute little red prostar?!?!

you wont get fired... you will have to take a defensive driving class and a test next time you are at a terminal... I scratched someone's mirror cover at the port of oakland a few months ago.... only $100 damage.

Ya, this is a stupid one... but I had one a few months ago and back in November. At least I didn't hit anyone else. It's just been one of those days.

If you were just heading up to Portland, you probably saw us going down. I saw a half dozen Centrals today alone.

I did find the best steak in Oregon though, on I5.
