    It is a shame, but not unexpected.

    The gooberment and specifically oboob have created an environment that will drive companies away from this country in order to stay in business.

    Too bad they aren't pro USA and actively work to bring companies to this country to provide jobs for the millions of unemployed.

    thats code for cheap labor and no benefits or retirement........bet the product price doesn't go down because of their new found "efficiencies"

    "According to the company, the Iola Haldex facility employs 160 people. The City of Iola website proclaims Haldex as one of the city's largest employers." This has nothing to do with the government this was just a small plant in a small town that couldn't meet production quotas now that the economy is picking up the plant in mexico is bigger and can do what this plant coulndnt do cheaper and faster.

    I don't know if I would say the government had nothing to do with it. Cheap labor and tax incentives is what drove this company to put a plant in Iola in the first place. Now they are just moving on to a location with cheaper labor and even less taxes and or government rules from agencies like OSHA, EPA, Building enforcement codes, etc, etc.
