Stuck at a #### moving and storage company 5mi from WVDC. 3 hours in the door and nothing has moved off my trailer! Of course I can't drop because we have no empties here, so I get to waste another ####### day waiting.

This has been a crappy week!

im going on 2 hrs detention so far here at target. Typical SuperValu/PLS behavior. This time they unload 2 pallets every hour!

New BOYCOTT location. If ya get a load to MDSL refuse it or ensure you have supplies and fuel to keep cool or warm. 5hrs in door and only 5ft of cargo is unloaded!

Going on 9 hours at this 99. This is ridiculous!

But what's more ridiculous is Centrals inability to figure out where I'm at. Got a call from my FM saying that Safety is wondering where I'm at. Why do we have all this computerized stuff if they're not using it. Safety has called me before, so I know they can look up my cell number. I've sent my mac13 indicating arrival at 99, but no 16 indicating departure. I've been called about missing a mac16 once before so I know somebody can see those. Sure my 99 is in West Valley... but that doesn't mean I'm at WVDC.

So... whomever keeps up with this forum at HQ... can't y'all put the peices of the puzzle together?
    Line 4 # 0540
    Line 1 # 0550
    mac13 for 99 MDSL # 0600
    Line 2 # 0800
that's it... So I must still be at MDSL.

Sigh... FRUSTRATION is overwhelming me. All over driving a whole 1ft into a pole and cracking some fiberglass.

9.5 hours at MDSL! 0600-1530. Get to WVDC at 1555. Leave the inspection bay at 1700. Safety is shutdown for what I need. Cafe is closed :( Oh joy, another day stuck here.

    Fired for what?
I am thinking of looking for a new company again. The short miles are not adding up to enough pay. I delivered this morning in Tewksbury MA. I got my 10 in their lot last night so I was ready to roll in the morning.
My next load was canceled (given away). So I wait.
I waiting till after noon (unloaded at 0745) and they call me for verbal.
The load they gave me will be a swap with another driver. He is running all the miles off of the load then getting my empty at the 1st stop. I have to deadhead to Philly to meet him at 0300.
Then deliver in Wilmington DE at 0500 and Glenburnie MD at 0800.
I sit here for over 24 hours, and that is what I get for my waiting.
Then I will be out of hours at the final stop, so I will have to take another 10, and probably run nights the rest of the week. I will probably get 2000 miles in, but at the cost of trying to sleep in the day without running in the heat.
Maybe I should just break down and go to Schneider or Swift. Probably make just as much money.

My last scrape with a pole at 1mph cracking my hood. Minor damage. But it was within 60 days of my supposed incident with another central driver. So... had a short meeting here at WVDC and had to explain what happened. Was sent away and 3 minutes later they came to get me to tell me I was fired.

Now I'm turning in the truck and figuring out how to get back to San Diego with ALL my stuff and my gal and the dog. Scraping money together for a rental.

Fun to be stranded 800mi from home!

Thank you all for the great info and entertainment along the way.

This is my last post here. Good luck and drive safe.
