Congratulations on the test. Your situation sounds similiar to mine. I am still working in my original industry, but the end is coming sooner or later. Not going to make it to retirement.
I am curious, if you don't mind me asking, what made you pick truck driving as your next career?

Profesional means you do it for a living and get paid for it.
sorry, not a profesional yet

Some people are tripping over the word Professional for some reason like I expect to walk out and not make any mistakes. I am a rookie but I did what was required to be called a professional but I realize I still have a lot to learn about trucking. No different than being called a professional baseball or football player but only being in your first season as a rookie. Now if I called myself a SuperTrucker that would indeed be grounds for a bashing. Anyway I didn't mean to vent but it was bugging me a bit and thats the last I will say about that.
Good luck to all the professionals out there new and old.

yes he does. after a doctor gets his degree he is considered a professional, different job same concept. if you want to get so technical on this "professional " thing, a brand spankin noob would be considered a pro. since they are getting paid during training. anything you do and get a check for it then you are a professional according to you. i'm going on my 15th yr doing this crap, so does that make me a professional ? everybody starts out a noob and goes from there to gain experience. instead of chastizing this guy why not congratulate him and wish him luck. don't judge, you where there once also as was everybody else on here. -
I'll say. And then my Dad will
