I'm leased on with L/S what part of that don't you understand? I am happy here but, as I have said before it isn't for everyone. You failed at it. Whining won't help.

 

Ever notice that the guys that whine the most about not making it at Landstar are the guys that need someone to hold their hand? That's one of the biggest problems with the trucking industry as a whole. There are too many guys out here that are not businessmen, they are just "playing trucks". Just because you bought a truck and trailer does not give you the right to make money. Take some personal responsibility for your actions and decisions. No one forces you to haul cheap freight. Quit listening to the garbage on the CB and educate yourself about the industry. There are plenty of resources out there to help you make good decisions. If you can't make it at Landstar you certainly can't make it with your own authority.

I have been with LS for a little over 2 months now, and have no complaints. Your success in making a paycheck is on your shoulders. Plain and simple. which is the reason why I leased on. I was tired of 20 year old's that have never seen the inside of a truck, let alone been dispatched by one of their own say how much money I was going to make, or where and when I was going somewhere.

The people that have failed at LS and have choosen to leave probably should have kept their trucks at swift, or the alike. They probably need to have their hands held.

 

Well I am not a Agent, Broker or other wise, I am drive for a company in Colorado, actually flying to Colorado on Monday, in 23 years on the road I have worked for 5 people. 7 years with an O/O leased onto LandStar, Spent 2 years driving for C&C out of Crump, TN, spent 18 months With R&R Transportation and 7 Years with Clark Refrigerated Trans, out of DFW. I am not in anyway a agent, But I will call someone's whining lazy non-working arse out in a NY Minute. The problem most drivers have with not making money is simple, Working Hard and Not Smart. Bottom Line some companies fit some drivers, and some companies others it is a matter of finding your groove, I am not even sure how Long I will last at this "New to me" company, not much on E logs, or governed Trucks this will be a first for me on many aspects. See how long it last but in the end either way I will not blame my Failure or success on the Company As I (like every Driver out there) Made the choice to work there and ONLY I can make the choice to leave (provided they do not can my redneck arse first) .

I will send a negative verbal message to everybody I will have to talk for the rest of my life.
I am happy because I fail at landstar crappy co.but I am a winner were I am right now or were I was dedicate for 12 years before ai arrive at crappy L/S.

 

As long as your happy you failed all is well.

THE TRUTH


$45.000 or so on credit card bill at LANDSTAR its the TRUTH.
When the load board was loaded with loads at .97 cpm when the fuel was $5 per gallon its the TRUTH.
When I was call in to take loads or they will send another driver to take their trl. from me its another truth or so called force load or terminated.
Its more than that,its a lot more TRUTH witch nobody knows but me,or other o/o going on same story as mine.
So,better don't call anybody stupid,unless you been on my pants.
I remember the very first day,I was advise to call a real stupid agent on my area,to ask for a load.So I did,and he offer me a load,after 43.500 lbs of caned food going to Baltimore from Ma and all the toll and $5 a gallon the offer was $400 and some change.
You make the math and see the truth there.I have all the bill from the,to prove your so called "fixing stupid" or ..........."TRUTH" so I know the truth,not you,since its my pocket,not yours.
And for my "better than $45.000 losses" I will make sure to make fun for all the stupids drivers like me,pulling loads for L/S crappy company.
God is up there,so I will make sure to pray for crappy L/S and their crappy agents.
LANDSTAR its more like a collection agent than a serious business.They like to collect,but they don't pay real money,just fakes loads with fake business,and that it the TRUTH.
