Well I am heading out for orientation with Swift tomorrow afternoon. I think I have all I need to go but if I don't I will make do without it. I would like to thank everyone for the support and words of encouragement the past few weeks. I am going to do all I can to make this work and keep a positive attitude no matter how bad it looks or gets. To those that have gone before me thanks for showing me the way and for those to follow good luck and hurry up and join me on the road.
I will be back here to let yall know how its going as soon as I can. I don't plan on getting a laptop until I get my own truck but after that I will be a regular again here. Man I sure learned alot from you people and could not have done it without all the help. :biggrin100 (29): This board is a great support tool that I plan on using while on the road. hopefully I can get some sleep tonight too.
See yall down the road somewhere!
Marty

Can you like give someone your screen name and have them update us on how you are doing. Someone you talk to or someone who would know if something happens to ya? I would hate for you to just disappear and never hear what is going on. So anyhow you will be back I know you will! I just worry about my friends and gotta know they are safe:biggrin100 (50):
TELL US GOODBYE ONE MORE TIME TOMORROW! I better have a message on my truckerspace.com:biggrin100 (31): -

Hey Marty good luck! I know you will be a good driver with the great attitude you have.. Just don't let the other drivers get to you....
Be safe out there... -
Good luck to ya !! Keep us informed of your progress .

Funny too cause I do that in my personal vehicle cruising along in the fast lane at 75mph here in California and some one will still pass me on the right and take my safety gap everytime. Happens like clockwork. No one in this state even understands a two second gap much less a car length for every 10 mph I was taught in drivers ed some 30 odd years ago. -
You think it is bad now, wait till you get in a big truck!:swoon: -
Good luck, Marty! Stay focused, stay positive, and you're gonna do just fine. Please try to keep in touch with us however you can. Like Logs suggested, perhaps you can give someone your screen name to keep us updated... or perhaps there's someone here you are comfortable enough with to exchange phone numbers or something. We just don't want to lose touch with you...
Drive safely now, okay? :smt023
