Congratulations, ONGB! I don't think I've ever met anyone who put so much effort into researching a career and learning the specifics of a job prior to training. That so clearly demonstrates your seriousness and how much work you're willing to do to get the job done correctly. You're gonna be a really good driver and regardless of what Redd and Tarps may say -- I'M not afraid to share the road with ya'! :biggrin_25514:

Ya know Sammycat, the people on here that have laughed with me and at me have also been the ones who have given me the direction I've needed to get to this point. I've gotten to a stage in life where my list of "give a craps" has gotten miniscule. I insist on enjoying life but I also insist on being the kind of driver who takes this work seriously. Most of my friends here, maybe all of my friends here, seem to have a keen sense of responsibility when it comes to professional conduct as a driver.....a quick glance at my friends list will affirm this statement. I talked at length today with one of the first members here that I asked to be one of my "friends". He's chock full of BS and crapola but, when I ask him serious, point-blank questions about driving and driving safely and professionally, all the BS and crapola are put on hold until he makes his point. That, I believe, is one of the true marks of a professional driver. We have to have our moments when BS and crapola reign supreme, but, when the reality of operating a huge commercial vehicle safely is in play.....the BS and crapola STOP!:biggrin_25514:
