About the only thing I see that hasn't been brought up yet is alcohol (not the drinking kind). Rubbing alcohol will save your but in the winter. Mix a bottle of it with your windshield cleaner and it will keep those cold drives from freezing your windshield over. Don't believe when the windshield cleaner says that it works down to -25 that it really will. I use nothing but Rain-X Windshield cleaner and one bottle of rubbing alcohol per gallon and I pass all kinds of people using ice scrapers wondering what happed.

how are you powering these devices?
are there standard 110 Ac outlets in the truck?
if so how many outlets and how much can you really pull from these?

You can find TV's and Tv/DVD combos in truck stops that will run off 12v power, but it's much cheaper to go to Wally world and get them there. Then, get an Inverter installed, so you can run them. How many items/what kind of items you can run will depend on the wattage of your inverter.
Lastly, some companies have APU's/generators on their trucks, and some of them (rigmaster comes to mind) put out AC and have plugs in the truck.

Warm clothes plus normal clothes and working clothes plus normal washing gear, inflatable bed liner plus bed clothes, I hate a sleeping bag, extra shoes plus driving sandals, raingear, Laptop with a digital TV antenna/receiver so it works as a TV too, Tom Tom Go910 Navigator, extra maps, CD´s and an external hardrive. Food and drinks I buy along.
This for a weeks trip...longer then I buy mags to read and take some books with plus boxing mitts/training gear If I find a Gym nearby.

Great point TJ! I used to buy air-brake antifreeze (this is PURE alcohol) because my company would reimburse me for it, and mix that in my washer fluid. And of course, if you pick up a trlr on a very cold day and its brakes are frozen, it will get em unstuck-with a little coersion from a hammer (if needed).
