And people wonder why my dog jumped out the door, started running, & didn't look back back in December!

Poor Angelo couldn't hold a tune! I was playing a song he didn't reconize!

I'd always heard Mama Cass died from heart failure.

Redd! I didn't know you lost your dog. I'm so sorry. Maybe you could get a little skunk and y'all can stink at each other. LOL

Ok, Redd, so I go to a company school and midway through it, the company changes their mind about me because of some misdemeanor, and I'm out my CDL and I still have to pay for school.

OR I make it through school and my dad has a heart attack and dies (he's had one already) what am I supposed to do, not go to his funeral? Because if it means losing my job, hell with him. I don't like him anyway. My stepmom died of cancer a couple of years ago, so I know how quickly things can happen where you need time off for emergencies, and my luck, it would happen during my first year.

If I pay for my schooling, sure I may still not be able to find a job, but at least I end up with a CDL and no collection notices and bad credit. NO MATTER WHAT I may have trouble finding a job, but in the process, I am not going to be had by these companies.

Anyway, if my thread goes off in another direction, it's best to veer off in a musical direction. I saw Moody Blues not too long ago, you talk about talent. I was born in the wrong generation.

I was looking in "Fleet Directory.com" and in your state popped up a few companies but one I was looking at that looks good is ABC Bulk Carrier. They have their own training program and I look at their job application and they only want to know about felonies. The pay is not bad either, 41¢ loaded and 36¢ empty.

So if you're looking besides Driver Solutions I'd take a look at Fleet Directory. But just like you say if you get into school and they find something they don't like and boot you , you'll be stuck with whatever training they have given you. Plus they will come after you and can ruin your credit rating. Companies nowadays are looking at credit reports so that's another item you need to keep clean. But that goes with anybody that goes to this schools. It's a chance you have to take.

Just remember to answer all question they ask and do not give any additional information. I did see some job applications that did ask if you've had any felonies and misdemeanors so you'd have to answer that one with an explanation. But you never know what they will do and might just hire you anyway. If you want to drive you can but you'll need to beat the bushes harder than some.
